Located at 7 King Street, Georgetown, Penang, the Straits & Oriental Museum ( SO Museum ) is geared to proudly be Penang’s first museum showcasing ancient shipwrecked ceramics from South East Asia region位于槟城乔治市国王街（King Street）7号的“海峡与东方博物馆”（Straits & Oriental Museum，简称SO Museum），是槟城首家专门展示源自东南亚地区的古代沉船瓷器的博物馆，并以此为荣。

Documenting the splendour of porcelain and its significance to the ancient world. We have managed to secure authentic pieces that were painstakingly recovered from tedious maritime expeditions from well-known wrecks such as the Wanli, Turiang, Royal Nanhai, Nanyang, Xuande and Desaru. The museum will be divided into three sections which we will be discussing in detail.
